Bob Trotter's Biography
Born in Chicago, Illinois Robert “Bob” Trotter is a lifelong and passionate student of martial arts including Tae Kwon Do (Black belt), Wing Chun Kung Fu (Instructor), Shidokan Karate, Judo, Kali, Muay Thai, Western boxing, Krav Maga, and is highly knowledgeable on state of the art general fitness. At the young age of thirteen, Bob recognized that martial arts is central to his sense of wellbeing, health, and a balanced, flexible approach to life and how to live it.
In addition to being a highly decorated member of the gang unit in the Chicago Police Department Organized Crime Division, Bob is expertly trained in terrorism preparedness, school/business active shooter response tactics, medic first aid, and has been certified as an MMA strength and conditioning coach, woman’s self defense instructor, and Krav Maga law enforcement, as well as a civilian instructor.
A true outdoorsman, Bob enjoys spending time running, scuba diving, swimming, hiking, kayaking, and playing many rounds of basketball with his young son.
His enthusiasm for exploration has taken Bob to such places as Alaska, Thailand, Roatan, Dominican Republic, Canada, Mexico, and many parts of Europe.
Worldly experience, continual learning, and personalized care are just a few of the things that make Bob a compassionate and capable fitness and self-defence mentor.
Bob’s quest for personal health coupled with practical self defense methodology has taken him across the United States to attend the most cutting edge seminars and training available because he knows good educators are lifelong learners.
